Gastrointestinal Surgery

The Department of Gastrointestinal Surgery specializes in surgical treatment of malignant diseases such as gastric (stomach) and colorectal cancer, and benign diseases such as inguinal and abdominal incisional hernia.

Medical Services

Supervising physicians and specialists affiliated with the Japan Surgical Society, the Japanese Society of Gastroenterological Surgery, and the Japan Society for Endoscopic Surgery provide highly professional treatment.

Treatment policy

We place the highest priority on the patient. The most appropriate treatment method is selected by a group of specialists based on a careful review of the results of detailed examinations, and patients are included in discussions about the selected method.

Laparoscopic surgery and other forms of minimally invasive surgery, organ-function sparing surgery and multimodal treatment for advanced cancer.
