Urology and Andrology

The Department of Urology and Andrology specializes in diseases of the urinary tract and male genital organs, such as adrenal gland, kidney, ureter, bladder, prostate gland, testis, urethra, and penis. Our department specializes in the surgical treatment and provides a full spectrum of standard and special technologies such as minimally invasive surgery and extended radical surgery for malignancies. We are developing various advanced surgical equipment including "Hinotoi," a Japanese surgical robot system.

Medical Services

5 urological surgeons certified from the Japanese Urological Society work together to provide care in the specialized outpatient clinic and the inpatient ward. The outpatient clinic is open on Tuesday and Friday to provide specialized outpatient services.

Treatment policy

With a patient-oriented approach, an individualized treatment plans are developed at department conferences and treatment is provided based on a team approach.

The department specializes in the surgical treatment of urological malignant and benign tumors, retroperitoneal sarcoma, urolithiasis, urethral stenosis and male infertility.
