At the Medical Device Social Implementation Support Unit, managed by Kobe University Hospital’s Center for Medical Device Engineering Innovation and Translation, we connect corporate researchers (including startups), on- and off-campus engineering researchers, and healthcare professionals. The unit provides hands-on support throughout the entire process, from early-stage development to real-world implementation. In recent years, it has placed particular emphasis on supporting startups, promoting global expansion, and addressing unmet medical needs.

The Clinical Research Consultation Office at the Clinical Research Support Center of Kobe University Hospital (*), provides support for the planning and implementation of clinical research. Consultation desks for medical device development are available at both the Clinical Research Support Center and the Center for Medical Device Innovation.
