About Us

Welcome to the International Medical Communication Center (IMCC) at Kobe University Hospital.

IMCC serves as the gateway for international patients, overseas medical institutions, and medical coordinators seeking access to advanced medical care at Kobe University Hospital. We facilitate communication, coordinate patient referrals, support second-opinion services, and assist with the acceptance process for patients traveling to Japan for treatment.

As a university hospital, we bring together specialists across a wide range of disciplines, supported by state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic technologies. Through close collaboration with our clinical departments and partner institutions, we strive to provide safe, patient-centered, and internationally accessible healthcare.

Message from the Director

At Kobe University Hospital, we believe that every patient should have access to high-quality medical care regardless of national borders. The International Medical Communication Center was established to help bridge the gap between patients around the world and the advanced medical services available at our institution.

Our team works closely with patients, families, healthcare providers, and medical coordinators to ensure smooth communication and appropriate medical access. Whether through direct treatment, second-opinion consultations, or collaboration with overseas healthcare institutions, we are committed to supporting each patient with professionalism, transparency, and compassion.

We also value international academic exchange and long-term partnerships with medical institutions worldwide. Through these collaborations, we aim not only to provide medical care but also to contribute to the advancement of global healthcare.

We look forward to working together to support patients in achieving the best possible outcomes.
