Kobe University will exhibit at the 22nd Medical Device Design and Manufacturing Exhibition, Medical Creation Fukushima 2026, as a participating hub of the Medical Device Development Collaboration Network “Yawaragi".

We will introduce Kobe University’s initiatives to support the development and commercialization of medical devices. These include the Medical Device Social Implementation Support Unit, a team of experts in regulatory affairs, reimbursement, marketing, intellectual property, and commercialization that provides hands-on support throughout the process, from identifying clinical needs to commercialization and overseas expansion. We will also showcase the Medtech Innovation Center (MIC), which provides practical development support through access to prototyping and evaluation facilities and specialized personnel; the Department of Medical Device Engineering and the Faculty of Medical Device Engineering in the Graduate School of Medicine, which specialize in developing human resources for medical device innovation; and the Medical Device Producer (MDP) Development Program, an upskilling program for working professionals designed to develop the next generation of medical device professionals.
